In the wake of the Karnataka assembly elections, the sale of liquor has been banned across the city from tomorrow morning to midnight.
State assembly election results will be announced tomorrow, in order to maintain peace and order, the sale of liquor has been banned in Bengaluru in the background of vote counting. The sale of liquor has been banned from 6 am to 12 midnight, so bars and restaurants will be closed from tomorrow morning.
Bangalore City Police Commissioner Pratap Reddy issued an order in this regard today. He said that in view of the counting of votes for the assembly elections tomorrow, the sale of liquor in bars and restaurants has been banned from 6 am to 12 midnight.
A prohibitory order under Section 144 has also been enforced in Bengaluru tomorrow. Too many people cannot crowd. Can't celebrate. Restrictions have been imposed on various celebrations, including bursting of firecrackers.
